About the Models
Milo
Named me after the lead singer of one of the best punk bands of the 80's - Milo Aukerman of the Descendents.
Parents: Mark and Melissa
Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Birthday: February 3, 2007
Sign: Aquarius
Degree: Currently attending puppy kindergarten.
Turn on’s: Sunbathing, romping in the grass, eating rocks, playing ball,
tug-o-war, pleasing his "mom" and turkey hot dogs.
Turn off’s: Sleeping in a crate
Milo, also known as Wee Man, flew in from Missouri when he was only 13 weeks old. Big trip for such a small guy, but he liked the idea of beginning a new adventure. Milo loves to meet other dogs even if they don't like him, they will soon warm up to his outgoing personality. He is Bella’s little bro and they are working on becoming friends.
Bella Vegas
Even though she’s German, her name comes from the Italian word “bella,” meaning beautiful.
Parents: Mark and Melissa
Breed: Boxer
Birthday: July 20, 2002
Sign: Cancer
Degree: Graduated from puppy kindergarten in 2002. Currently working on new socialization skills.
Turn on’s: Sunbathing, napping on the couch, going for long walks, playing "attack the hose," wiggling her nub, giving kisses, and snacking on "knuckle bones."
Turn off’s: Baths, doing "down" command, car rides, and (sadly) many other dogs.
Bella drove all the way from North Carolina to meet Melissa and Mark in the Fall of 2002. She was just a wee thing back then and now weighs in at a hefty 85 lbs. Bella is a tough girl for sure and she loves to hang out with the boys.
Jackson
Parents: Jim and Linda
Breed: Great Dane
Birthday: June 3, 2004
Sign: Gemini
Degree: No formal education, Dad provided homeschooling.
Turn on’s: Loves to run, he likes to do laps around the back yard, and play tug-o-war with Roxie, his malti-poo “big sister.”
Turn off’s: Baths, having his giant toenails trimmed.
This 145-pound monster does not realize he is a large dog. He’ll try to climb up on your lap just to snuggle. Jackson is very friendly with most dogs. In fact, when friends have brought over a new puppy he is very careful not to step on them, while they try to play with him. Although he looks big and scary, he is the biggest cry baby. When his dad comes home from work and Jackson hears the truck pull in the drive way, he starts crying and he can't get out the door fast enough to run back to the truck to greet his dad.
Trudy
Her name means “adored warrior,” because she’s one tough cookie.
Parents: Colleen and Chris
Breed: Yorkie, Jack Russell, poodle, who the fuck knows what else, mixed breed.
Birthday: Sometime in January of 2006
Sign: Probably Capricorn
Degree: Completed Beginner Obedience Class, but doesn’t act like it.
Turn on’s: Licking carpets, playing tug-o-war with her rope bone, eating mama’s chapsticks, lounging on the deck furniture, any kind of snacks.
Turn off’s: Having her hair done, strange people coming into her house.
Trudy is a testament to how much of a softy her daddy is. He wanted to adopt a bigger dog, but he couldn’t resist her fuzzy little face. She is a wicked little bitch and has completely taken over the house, even pushing her big bro, Murphy, out of the bed at night. She may also be part gremlin, because she makes the most bizarre growly/screechy noises when roughhousing with mama and dad.
Murphy Dogg
Named after Boston punk band, the Dropkick Murphys.
Parents: Colleen and Chris
Breed: Boston Terrier
Birthday: No idea. Probably sometime in 2001.
Sign: ???
Degree: None. He’s not one for schoolin’.
Turn on’s: Giving slobbery kisses, tug-o-war, bacon, belly rubs, his Aunt Sarah, humping Mikey the cat, sunbathing, rolling in the grass, car rides, dried liver snax.
Turn off’s: BATHS! Having his ears cleaned, being in his box, Trudy stealing his stuff.
Murphy (aka: Murph Doggie Dogg, MurphDogg, Murphy Stink Face) snores a lot, farts a lot, and slobbers like a son-of-a-bitch. He lacks most of the common doggie social skills, has a bit of a superiority complex when around bigger dogs, and often acts like a total spaz. And most of the time, he’ll only listen to commands to sit, stay, or get down if he feels like it. Murphy is rude, will lick his ween on the couch and burp loudly in mixed company. So, he’s kind of an asshole. This may be why Chris and Colleen found him abandoned at the SPCA and fell in love with him despite his tendency to act like a dick sometimes. But Murphy is also aggressively affectionate, barreling full-speed to leap on you for kisses. He doesn’t seem to realize how strong he is and has knocked over a number of small children. His tenacious personality knows no boundaries when it comes to slobbery shows of affection.
Daisy “Deuce” Fury
Cause there’s always 2 number 2's
Parents: Vito & Jessica Fury
Breed: Boston Terrier
Birthday: Feb. 19th
Sign: Aquarius
Degree: Can’t learn nothing in school they don’t teach you on the streets.
Turn on’s: Treats, car rides & nap times
Turn off’s: Baths
Daisy is as laid back as they come. First impression is insane like a Boston, and the rest of the time she’s napping like a cat.
Ethel “Superstar” Hallman
Her original owner named her after Ethel Merman.
Parents: Betty
Breed: Miniature Daschund/ hot dog/ veener schnitzel.
Birthday: Betty adopted Ethel and doesn’t know her actual b-day, so they celebrate together on mommy’s birthday August 4th.
Sign: Pseudo Leo.
Degree: Ethel currently has a degree in being the coolest dog ever.
Turn on’s: Greenies and pig ears. Licking people and things until they are all slobbery.
Pretending like she has to go potty really bad and then just flopping in the grass to sunbathe. Squeezing herself into the smallest places she can fit, preferably in between people. Going for walks, following mommy around, being held like a baby. Mommy’s tattoo of her on her arm!! Chasing squirrels!!! Going for rides in the car and letting her ears flop in the wind.
Turn off’s: Swimming, her little legs don’t take her very far. When someone makes her believe there’s a kitty around and there isn’t. She gets very upset when people play fight, she doesn’t want to see anyone get hurt or fight. Being home alone, big dogs that are too hyper, and getting her nails cut, she has to be muzzled!
Ethel is a miniature daschund that her mommy took in from a family who had to get rid of her. She was living with her brother Sid and her other brother Huntz at the time. They were all kept in tiny little crates all day and not given the attention they deserved. Sadly little Huntz was hit by a car and Sid was taken by another family. Ethel is somewhere between the age of 11 and 12, Betty has had her since she was a year and a half old. She has a very lovable calm temperament and has always been that way. She loves to cuddle, be pet, and will demand attention until she gets it. Fortunately for her she’s so adorable no one can say "no"! Ethel knows very well that she is a spoiled little princess and can get almost anything she wants. Everywhere she goes people know her by name. She truly is a Superstar!
Mr. Zak Mayo
Named after Richard Gere's character in "An Officer and A Gentleman"
Parents: Brock and Jenn
Breed: Boston Terrier
Birthday: August 2, 2004
Sign: Leo
Degree: BA from the “school of mom.” She taught him to sit, speak, lay down and roll over, either by voice command or hand motions.
Turn ons: Showing off his toys, chewing the eyes off stuffed animals, dinner left-overs
Turn offs: Water, getting nails cut, plastic grocery bags
Zak is an energetic crazy maniac of a Boston. He has a limp from spazzing out and busting his leg, but still has not learned his lesson. He loves meeting new people and can’t seem to control himself when company comes over, or when he meets anyone along walks. He loves to show off his toys in hope you will give it throw or start a tug of war. Even though he is a crazy ass, he is very lovable and a great cuddler...minus the farting!
Henry
He just looks like a Henry.
Parents: Brock and Jenn
Breed: Boston Terrier
Birthday: December 29, 2006
Sign: Capricorn
Degree: Currently enrolled in the “school of mom,” and working on crate training and getting’ the whole potty thing down.
Turn ons: Cuddling, sleeping, and kisses
Turn offs: Getting yelled at, going in the crate
Henry may have narcolepsy, cause this little man can sleep like a champ, anytime, anywhere. He could be playing like a crazy dog but pick him up and cuddle him, and he's asleep in seconds. He loves to chew on anything and lay in the sun. This Boston is totally adorable! He's such a sweetheart. With his flipped back ears and pouty old man lip, how can you resist? Unfortunately, he too has a problem keeping his ass smell under control, but we still love him!
Zeus
As a puppy, he looked like he was gonna grow up into a big scary guy, but he ended up a bit of a puss.
Parents: Tom and Heather
Breed: Lab and Pit Bull mix
Birthday: July 5, 2000
Sign: Cancer
Degree: He got kicked out of obedience class for being lazy.
Turn on’s: Wrasslin’ with his daddy, car rides, fucking with the neighbor dog, and chewing on anything he can find, especially children’s toys like plastic garden shovels. He also enjoys eating his dinner out of the toilet that’s in his backyard.
Turn off’s: Baths, being stuck in the basement or outside when company is visiting.
Zeus is a very high-energy dog who works hard and plays hard. He doesn’t realize he’s 75 pounds and will jump all over you to try to entice you to wrestle with him. But for all his playful aggression, he’s sweet and gentle with Tom and Heather’s two adorable little boys. Nathan, 4, and Nicholas, 2, crawl all over Zeus, yank on his tail and stick their fingers in his mouth and he’s totally cool with it.
J.D.
Parent: Byrd
Breed: Jack Russel
We currently don't know anything about J.D. because his dad is the biggest fuckin' procrastinator. So if you know Byrd, please get on his ass and tell him to finish writing J.D.'s bio so that we can learn more about J.D.! |
